Considering the unique historical background of the city, the project aims to create a new interaction by bridging the old and the new. A piece of the historical lost (half) city fabric is appropriated and converted into the plan for the new public space. A contemporary manifestation of an old part of the city links the two terrains, offering diversity with different degrees of open and closed, intimacy and inclusiveness.
